Surprising My Mom with a Seafood Feast for Her Birthday! 🎉🦀Took my mom @queenbella32showup to one of my favorite Black woman-owned seafood spots, Seafoodmaniaboil, for her surprise birthday dinner! We went on 2/11 for their $2 Throwback Tuesdays, and let me tell you—it did NOT disappoint!🔥 The Deals Were Crazy! 🔥 • $2 mini chicken or shrimp tacos • $2 margaritas • $28 shrimp & crab leg boil(The special ends at 7 PM—don’t sleep on it!)If you know my mom, you know she’s the BIGGEST seafood lover, so this was the perfect spot. And babyyyy, she had a TTIIIIMMMEE!!! The vibes? 10/10. The shots? Non-stop. She couldn’t stop raving about how good everything was and how much fun she had.Special THANK YOU to the amazing owner Sylvia for everything. She’s really my girl. Day in My Life as a Female Uber Driver: Tuesday 2/18. This day was very calm but busy, so I unintentionally didn’t record much. • 10:00 AM – Charged my car at Skyview Center. Tried to find that viral Asian mango/peach ice cream but had no luck. • 11:20 AM – Had priority access at LGA, but the new waiting lot is way too far and gives trenches. • 11:56 AM – Got a ride… but sadly, not an airport trip. • 1:58 PM – Dropped off a long trip to Old Bethpage, NY—wasn’t too bad. Made a quick $70. • 4:00 PM – Had a reservation pickup… for a 6-minute ride. I’ll never understand that. • 4:21 PM – Got a light 17-minute ride. • 5:30 PM – Tried charging my car at JFK, but the line was absolutely disgusting. • 6:50 PM – Made it back to the city, did a couple more rides, then called it a night.Hope you liked my mini vlog!Follow for more: @simplidessa

Everyone who knows me, knows I go hard for my Uncle @_kingmaine_ For his birthday he went to Nicki Minaj concert with my aunt @theejasminemartinez Since it fell on a Thursday, I was like let me take you to @halseybar_n_grill for their $5 crab legs & mussels. Pretty much seafood Thursdays. They both did not want to ruin their outfit so they only tried the Shrimp Mac & Cheese which was a 10/10. I of course had to indulge in the crab legs deliciousness. Nothing like good food, vibes, drinks and prayer with your family. I know my uncle enjoyed his birthday. I love you Uncle Maine. And yes I know I’m super duper late posting this but oh well lol. We all love a good blowout. But maintaining your hair after a big chop whew 😮‍💨. Im not sure how true this is, but I was told to comeback frequently at first after cutting my hair. This was my 2nd maintenance since my chop. Even though it’s currently been a long while since this day. Let me just tell you my hair has grown but still not the way I would like. I’ve been going to Mary’s Salon Dominican Style located on Nostrand Ave & Farragut Rd since I was a kid. Always have to get the $10 deep conditioner. I’m just a girl who loves buying flowers for those in my life whether it’s their birthday, special occasion, having a hard time or just because. On this day I picked up some beautiful hydrangeas for a friend’s mom birthday & the yellow bouquet for my best friend who I just wanted to let her know I appreciate her always. 🫶One thing imma always do is travel to @city_line_florist in East New York, Brooklyn. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. They always make the most beautiful arrangements. If you want a bouquet on a budget, well they offer premade bouquets for $10, $20 & $30. Places To Celebrate Your Birthday Series: Sometimes you just want to do something different for your birthday besides a dinner or a club. @paintnpourinc was the perfect alternative. We went to the Harlem location for their Smoke N’ Paint to celebrate my friend @realshellz_ We had a good time. The instructor made it very easy for us to go along with everything. Things to know:⭐️ Bring your own supplies to 💨. ⭐️ Bring your own 🍃.⭐️ Service is extremely poor if you sit towards the back. ⭐️ It’s held downstairs in the outside covered patio. Every Wednesday is there Free Hookah Wednesdays where the 1st hookah is free & you only pay for the refills before 10pm. $10 cocktails & appetizers all night before 9pm. Day in my life as a female Uber/Lyft driver. Early mornings late nights. No matter the weather I still have to grind. On this day it was raining all day 😪. Which is good for us, because of surges (the red on the uber app). Then, my mom was traveling so I took her to the airport. You know I have to hold it down for Mom dukes. Can’t forget to grab food in between. As I always tell people, I never know what I may see each day. Ended up seeing a whole car on fire and lots of black smoke in the air.
