Everyone who knows me, knows I go hard for my Uncle @_kingmaine_ For his birthday he went to Nicki Minaj concert with my aunt @theejasminemartinez Since it fell on a Thursday, I was like let me take you to @halseybar_n_grill for their $5 crab legs & mussels. Pretty much seafood Thursdays. They both did not want to ruin their outfit so they only tried the Shrimp Mac & Cheese which was a 10/10. I of course had to indulge in the crab legs deliciousness. Nothing like good food, vibes, drinks and prayer with your family. I know my uncle enjoyed his birthday. I love you Uncle Maine. And yes I know I’m super duper late posting this but oh well lol. We all love a good blowout. But maintaining your hair after a big chop whew 😮💨. Im not sure how true this is, but I was told to comeback frequently at first after cutting my hair. This was my 2nd maintenance since my chop. Even though it’s currently been a long while since this day. Let me just tell you my hair has grown but still not the way I would like. I’ve been going to Mary’s Salon Dominican Style located on Nostrand Ave & Farragut Rd since I was a kid. Always have to get the $10 deep conditioner. I’m just a girl who loves buying flowers for those in my life whether it’s their birthday, special occasion, having a hard time or just because. On this day I picked up some beautiful hydrangeas for a friend’s mom birthday & the yellow bouquet for my best friend who I just wanted to let her know I appreciate her always. 🫶One thing imma always do is travel to @city_line_florist in East New York, Brooklyn. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. They always make the most beautiful arrangements. If you want a bouquet on a budget, well they offer premade bouquets for $10, $20 & $30. Places To Celebrate Your Birthday Series: Sometimes you just want to do something different for your birthday besides a dinner or a club. @paintnpourinc was the perfect alternative. We went to the Harlem location for their Smoke N’ Paint to celebrate my friend @realshellz_ We had a good time. The instructor made it very easy for us to go along with everything. Things to know:⭐️ Bring your own supplies to 💨. ⭐️ Bring your own 🍃.⭐️ Service is extremely poor if you sit towards the back. ⭐️ It’s held downstairs in the outside covered patio. Day in my life as a female Uber/Lyft driver. Early mornings late nights. No matter the weather I still have to grind. On this day it was raining all day 😪. Which is good for us, because of surges (the red on the uber app). Then, my mom was traveling so I took her to the airport. You know I have to hold it down for Mom dukes. Can’t forget to grab food in between. As I always tell people, I never know what I may see each day. Ended up seeing a whole car on fire and lots of black smoke in the air. Day In My Life as a female uber/lyft driver living in NYC. It is not for the weak. I’m out early and in late sometimes. You never know what your day is going to look like. It’s ride after ride. Maybe a trip to the mechanic shop and off to the electric shop right after. In between we are just living our daily lives. Sometimes going out requires a fire makeup look. I booked an appointment with @glamedupbyglo for an event I was attending. Of course my girl ate. Btw I don’t do lashes but this night I was cornered into it, but no regrets. The booking process was extremely easy. Communicate your do’s and don’t with makeup preferences.
