if black history is going to be a month when we reverence we accomplishments, let us also address the issues that impact all black americans as well as foreign. But definitely, the colorism that is not one sided. I, as a light skinned black american feel egregiously prejudged by almost every black person I meet of dark complexion. It is not my job to be light skinned, it is what I am wearing at all times. it is not my choice to love men, it is my nuero science and my spiritual affliction; if your apathy holds no compassion for me then i encourage you to forget black history month.
