Our Story

While working together at a small theatre company in New York City, Jane Petrov (Artistic Director/Company Member) and Roy Havrilack (Producer and Company Member) decided to experience Sundance Film Festival where they had a chance encounter with an executive from Taymor Industries, Inc. who needed a new marketing video to inspire their salesforce. So Jane and Roy pulled a team together to write, shoot and deliver a winning video, and Taymor wanted to hire them to create more. In 2006 Roy and Jane teamed up with Steven Beeson (one of Louis Licari’s top colorists) and founded SkyTown Entertainment.

The SkyTown team has enjoyed creating marketing, training, music and event videos for clients that include Anthem Healthcare, LIM College, Move This World, Tourette Syndrome Association of America NYC Chapter, Bernstein Display and Shakespeare Orange County. SkyTown is currently developing a comedy series, The Four Letter Word, and has a list of festival award-winning short films that include, January, Sitter and What Future.

SkyTown Entertainment was a pioneer in providing self-tape services for actors. Since 2009 they’ve been working with the entertainment industry’s leading agents, managers and casting directors worldwide to help their clients book roles in the latest theatrical, television, and major motion picture projects. In 2010, Jane moved out to Los Angeles to open the west coast studio. Our clients love that we are bi-coastal and our dedication and commitment to quality, service and reliability has earned us a highly respected reputation in the industry.
