Craving Something Delicious? ๐Ÿœ Dive into This Chicken Lo Mein Adventure!

Ingredients (Serves 4):

1 lb chicken breast, sliced
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sesame oil, divided
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
1/2 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup onion, sliced
1/2 cup carrots, sliced
1/2 cup sugar snap peas, halved
4 servings cooked egg noodles
1 tbsp chopped scallions, for garnish

Directions:

Season the Chicken: In a bowl, mix the chicken with pepper, salt, and 1 tbsp of sesame oil. Set aside.
Prepare the Sauce: In another bowl, whisk together chicken broth, remaining sesame oil, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside.
Cook the Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until itโ€™s no longer pink. Remove and set aside.
Sautรฉ the Aromatics: In the same pan, cook the garlic and ginger until aromatic.
Stir-fry the Veggies: Add mushrooms, onions, carrots, and sugar snap peas, cooking until theyโ€™re tender.
Combine Everything: Return the cooked chicken to the pan, add the cooked egg noodles, and pour in the prepared sauce. Stir everything together and cook for 3 more minutes until well-coated.
Serve: Garnish with chopped scallions and serve hot.
