A Nigerian man, Tembu Ebere, attempted to break a world record by crying non-stop for a whole week but ended up experiencing temporary partial blindness. 😳

As part of a trend of Guinness World Records attempts in Nigeria, Ebere suffered headaches, a swollen face, and puffy eyes before losing his vision for 45 minutes. Despite not officially applying to Guinness World Records, he remained determined to complete his tearful feat.

The trend began when a chef named Hilda Baci set a cooking record, sparking a craze among Nigerians to attempt their own records. However, Guinness World Records advised caution and encouraged hopefuls to register their attempts for recognition.

Former Amazon manager Kayricka Wortham has received a 16-year prison sentence for her involvement in a fraudulent scheme, where she stole $9.4 million from the company. 😳

Wortham exploited her position by creating fake vendors and invoices, approving them, and transferring the funds to her own bank accounts and those of her co-conspirators.

This fraudulent operation took place between August 2020 and March 2022, during which Wortham used the embezzled money to purchase luxury items and attempted to deceive the franchising company while also trying to establish a ho**ah lounge.

Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison H. Schmitt discovered that he was allergic to the moon while returning to the vessel which had landed on the lunar surface ‼️🌕

Schmitt, who walked on the moon in December 1972, was part of the final crewed mission to reach the moon before the Apollo program ended.

When Schmitt took off his helmet once securely back in the vessel, he became congested and began to notice issues with his breathing.

In 2019, he told the Starmus space festival audience: "First time I smelled the dust I had an allergic reaction, the inside of my nose became swollen, you could hear it in my voice. "But that gradually went away for me, and by the fourth time I inhaled lunar dust I didn't notice that."

Takeoff's mother, Titania Davenport, has filed a lawsuit against the Houston bowling alley her son was killed outside of last November. Davenport believes that the alley took inadequate security measures that night leading up to the incident.

The court filings reveal that the property owners of 810 Billiards & Bowling failed to address the increased security needs despite being informed about the event's potential draw of a large crowd, including celebrities.

Davenport seeks over $1 million in damages to cover her son's personal injuries, funeral expenses, and mental anguish.

Lomond School pupil Maksym Gavrylenko has made a “substantial” amount of money after selling the server he ran from his bedroom, which allows gamers from all over the world to connect to and play together on, with friends.

The 17-year-old boarding school pupil said: “I am very proud that I was able to turn my passion into a profitable business and I plan on treating my mother.

“As a result of the war, she was forced to flee her home, leaving her homeless, so to buy her a property will make all the hours spent on this project worthwhile.” ❤️
