A blast occurred inside the JCT 4MS vessel MV. MSC CAPETOWN III around 0030hrs 11/08/2024 near the Bay42 area. SLPA firebrigade, Safety personnel, Medical Center, Security intervened. Under control.

A blast occurred inside the JCT 4MS vessel MV. MSC CAPETOWN III around 0030hrs 11/08/2024 near the Bay42 area in Sri Lanka. All the operations staff and other supporting crews were evacuvated. Sri Lanka Port Authority fire brigade, Safety personnel, Medical Center, Security personnel were informed.

𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀: 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗯𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼.

An explosion occurred at the Phase III terminal in Ningbo, China. The ship is named YM MOBILITY V.O79W. The cargo is suspected to be Class 5.2 dangerous goods. AG2 of the Middle East Line, YM's AG2, a transit box of the HMM exploded. The ship is YM. AG2 intercepted today. The Ningbo box has not been loaded yet.
