Looking for a Paid Soprano Section Leader

First Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn, an intentionally inclusive church, is seeking a paid soprano section leader for the 2024-2025 season.

Strong sight-reading skills and willingness to foster relationships in our faith-based community are equally important qualifications. The largely volunteer, vibrant choir of 30+ members primarily sings Gospel Music, so familiarity with that genre is key. This is a weekly, paid position which requires attendance on Sundays for rehearsal and service from 9:00 am-12:30 pm, 1 or 2 Thursday evening rehearsals per month, and required attendance at Christmas Eve and Easter services.

Pay is $100 for Sunday morning rehearsal/service, and $75 for Weeknight rehearsals. (1-2 hours)
