Clay surely fumbled this amazing woman and partner. To come on a show about marriage and then say you’re not ready, is absurd to me. Wasted her experience and for what? To become seen while you break her heart? Clay used AD to get fame in my eyes. He used the excuse of his parents marriage and yes I said excuse. His parents mistakes aren’t his. They accomplished a lot in those 25 years, yet he focused on the bad as his excuse to not marry AD. She dodged a bullet with this one. Just sucks she had to be used in order to know.

The founder and CEO of Tyler Perry Studios, Tyler Perry is the new owner of BET. Perry has completed his acquisition of B.E.T Media Group which also includes VH1 from Paramount Global according to The Streamr.

This is major news for the media mogul. It’sIbeen over 20 years since B.E.T had a black owner. This is also the first time VH1 has ever been black owned.

Tyler Perry is out here making history as the first African American to own 2 major networks. The financial terms of the deal were not publicly disclosed.

Big congratulations to Tyler Perry on another amazing achievement.

New York City's failure to address the homelessness crisis is heart-wrenching. Despite the city having vacant homes, apartments, and even new buildings, the homeless are still left on the streets without a place to call home. It's time for the city leaders to take immediate action to provide the necessary assistance to those who are suffering.

While there are programs in place to assist the homeless and mentally ill, the challenge lies in effectively reaching and notifying these individuals so they can benefit from the assistance. It's not enough to just have programs in place; people need to be on the ground, working tirelessly to identify and assist those who are most in need.

We must demand that our city leaders implement daily efforts to engage with and support the homeless and mentally ill individuals in our communities. They need to be aware of the available resources and receive the necessary support to get back on their feet.

The recent tragic murder of Jordan Neely by Daniel Penny serves as a painful reminder of the urgency of this matter. The city of New York knows that it's responsible for the lack of urgency and action to protect vulnerable communities, yet they're failing to take any steps to change the situation.

We cannot let this continue. It's time for programs to be put in place and for people to assist in getting this done humanely. No one should be forced to live on the streets or in unethical conditions.

Let's use our voices to demand change and work towards a better future for those who are most in need. This requires a collective effort from everyone, from our city leaders to community-based organizations and individuals, to work towards a common goal of providing the necessary support and care to the most vulnerable members of our society.

Together, we can make sure that no one falls through the cracks and that everyone has access to the resources and care they need to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

It's not every day that you hear about a Grammy-winning musician being arrested on charges of conspiracy and illegal lobbying. But that's exactly what happened to Pras Michel, the former member of hip-hop group The Fugees.

In 2019, Pras Michel was charged by the U.S. Department of Justice with conspiracy to violate foreign lobbying laws related to his alleged involvement in a scandal that rocked the world. The scandal, known as the 1MDB scandal, involved the misappropriation of billions of dollars from a Malaysian government fund, allegedly used to fund the lavish lifestyles of various individuals.

According to the indictment, Pras Michel allegedly funneled millions of dollars from a Malaysian businessman to U.S. political candidates and organizations, including a pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC during the 2016 presidential election. The indictment also alleged that Pras Michel made illegal contributions to several U.S. political campaigns and concealed the true source of the funds.

Pras Michel pleaded not guilty to the charges, but the case is still ongoing.

The arrest of Pras Michel sent shockwaves through the music industry and the political world. It serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of illegal lobbying and the need for transparency in political financing. It also highlights the fact that no one, not even a Grammy-winning musician, is above the law.

The hit Netflix original series has been in the headlines recently. Though viewers are speaking highly of the show, and it is getting a lot of attention, some people are upset about one of the cast members cast on the show. David Choe's “rapey” podcast comments from 2014 on his podcast DVDASA in which he cohosts with Asa Akira have been placed in the spotlight again leaving some viewers in an uproar. David Choe reportedly recalled an encounter with a masseuse he called “Rose” Choe told his co-host & audience that he pushed this woman to perform oral s*x on him, knowing she was not interested in that type of contact. At the time, Choe admitted this was “rapey behavior,” but maintained: “I am not a rapist.” Now, the Beef actor filed a copyright claim and got the podcast footage taken down.

Show creator Lee Sung Jin, along with executive producers and stars of the hit series “Beef” Ali Wong & Steven Yeun released a joint statement regarding the casting backlash. The statement was released acknowledging the "disturbing" nature of the story Choe told on his podcast in 2014. “The story David Choe fabricated nine years ago is undeniably hurtful and extremely disturbing, We do not condone this story in any way, and we understand why this has been so upsetting and triggering.”

Choe has reiterated that the story he told on the podcast was "simply for shock value" and stressed that it was a fabricated story, again apologizing for his words and now agreeing that s*xual assault is not a topic that should ever be joked about.

Don Lemon was recently fired from CNN. He released the following statement on his twitter acount:

"I was informed this morning by my agent that I have been terminated by CNN. I am stunned. After 17 years at CNN I would have thought that someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly. At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work I have loved at the network. It is clear that there are some larger issues at play. With that said, I want to thank my colleagues and the many teams I have worked with for an incredible run. They are the most talented journalists in the business, and I wish them all the best."

CNN was sure to respond to Don Lemon in a follow up tweet posted below.
