Last Spring, @atrak teamed up with Manchester native @ajchristou and LA’s @duckwrth for “Sway,” a breezy house tune that gained support from Disclosure, Sarah Story, Claptone and many more. Now, after months of testing these weapons on the club circuit, the boys are ready to unleash a remix pack that is nothing short of nasty. The UK-centric lineup of @masoncollective, @fleur_shore and @itslitek takes turns fipping the catchy “Sway” into dancefloor weapons. Mason and Fleur went for a Deep Tech vibe with funky basslines, while LiTek created a bouncy, upbeat groove — clearly everyone was inspired by Duckwrth’s flirty vocal.

@chr0meb0dies put a hardgroove spin on @atrak’s bassline-heavy “Like I Said”, the lead single from his SP1200 project 10 Seconds Vol. 3. The brainchild of Manila Killa and Hotel Garuda, CHROMEBODIES has been making noise this year and they lend a few extra womps to this remix too. A-Trak cooked up another batch of raw SP1200 bangers and this 3rd installment is extra crunchy. Using the vintage sampler that helped define the sound of Todd Terry, Stardust and Kenny Dope, and working within the confines of its extremely short sample time, Trizzy went to work and concocted some gold. Whether it’s the insanely funky bassline of Like I Said, the hardgroove chugging of JustCantLive or the surprising techno bump of Jyeah, this EP is full of weapons.
