MY SON BROUGHT HIS FIANCÉE HOME—THE MOMENT I SAW HER FACE AND LEARNED HER NAME, I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE POLICE

So, my son has been dating this girl for three months now. The wildest part? We hadn't even met her or heard her name until recently. They met at a café near his college, and apparently, she was too shy to meet us.

But now, he proposed, and we finally insisted that she come over to our place to meet the family.

I cooked a big dinner, and my husband picked up some great steaks. We were really looking forward to meeting our future DIL. But when my son walked in with her, I almost lost it. I recognized her immediately. When she introduced herself, everything clicked into place!

A WAITER SERVED ME A DISH I DIDN'T ORDER — WHEN I COMPLAINED, HE WHISPERED "IT'S FROM MY HUSBAND." IF ONLY I KNEW IT WAS SET UP.

James and I celebrated our 14th anniversary at the restaurant. As usual, he presented me with a new utensils set because I love cooking, forgetting that I'm a woman who loves jewelry, fancy dresses, and massages (which he can afford).

But okay, I just accepted him the way he is.

Then, while he was in the bathroom, our waiter served me a salad I didn't order. He added, "DON'T EAT IT. THERE'S A SURPRISE INSIDE FOR YOU FROM YOUR HUSBAND."

Like in a movie, I was so excited! I immediately started digging through the salad between the tomatoes and avocado, and suddenly found A RING.

At that moment, James came back and saw what I had found. His face turned white, "WHERE DID YOU GET IT?"

And suddenly I noticed the waiter's smirking face.⬇️
