n Stanton holds an MFA in Theatre Pedagogy with a focus on Culturally Responsive Pedagogy and Universal Design for Learning. He is a former Teacher of the Year who was targeted by conservative voices which led to the creation of this space. Every Tuesday and Thursday Bryan sits down with queer educators from around the world to amplify their voices and ensure that we are never silenced. AMPLIFYING: Hello my beautiful community!
I am reaching out this morning to tell you all about a study I am conducting as part of my dissertation. Even more so now, our Trans and gender- diverse communities are witnessing their livelihood and existence being erased by political actions. My study is titled, “Resisting the Shadows”, and focuses on how Trans and Gender- diverse individuals continue to resist against acts of violence and discrimination under harmful social institutions within the state of Texas. If you’d like to share your story, your voice, to help advocate and fight for social equity, please consider sharing your testimonio as part of my study. I am currently seeking participants who identify as Transgender or part of the gender- diverse community, are age 18 or above, and currently live within the state of Texas. All participants will remain anonymous. This study had been approved by the University of Texas at San Antonio. Today, we honor the Holocaust Day of Remembrance by reflecting on the lives lost and the resilience of those who survived. The Jewish and LGBTQ+ communities, among many others, faced persecution under the N**i regime, with thousands of q***r individuals imprisoned, tortured, and murdered simply for being who they were.

We remember their stories, their struggles, and their courage—and we commit to ensuring that history is never forgotten. Together, we stand against hate in all its forms and fight for a future of dignity, equality, and remembrance.
