This for the cool kids from Canarsie scared to post, scared to collab, scared to be confrontational scared to be judged, boxed in by the blocks of flatlands & Rockaway, the ones that sit back & ask about who people think they are instead of being who they wanna be.
This for the cool kids from Flatbush, stuck on junction to Atlantic Ave. The ones designed by their designer wear, the ones that care too much & live in fear.
This for my OGs who think we’re cocky & arrogant cause I refuse to listen to them & excel every time I don’t, so they wait for life to humble us. Well I’m waiting too, yall know how I get. But this ain’t a moment to gloat but to inspire the people where I’m from nonetheless to be fearless against what everyone says.
Follow your heart, trust your instinct, be confident, be loud, readjust, rebrand, restart. Build community, don’t be afraid to fight argue, cut people off, gain new ones, try new methods, do it again. Always talk ya s**t & thank God! Humility & Arrogance can coexist.
