Just before 2024 wrapped, we launched Unboxed—our new event series connecting industry professionals with up-and-coming gear from AV innovators.

We kicked off our first Unboxed event with our friends from Panasonic Connect Pro AV USA, showcasing their upcoming 4K studio camera, the UCX100.

Attendees got hands-on access to the unreleased UCX100 and gained valuable insights into its innovative features—from standalone operation to advanced moiré suppression for LED walls.

Experts from ROE Visual and Brompton Technology also joined us, sharing strategies for LED wall color management and camera matching.

Unboxed is all about empowering our attendees with insights about the latest technology and facilitating connections. From live demos to one-on-one conversations with industry experts, we aim to provide an unparalleled opportunity to learn, network, and collaborate.

Case in point: installing an LED wall into the side of a PODS container on the back of a truck to create the world’s smartest billboard.💥

Our team utilized a 3.9mm pixel pitch outdoor LED wall by i5 LED powered by Novastar to bring the campaign to life.

The campaign rolled through 299 NYC neighborhoods in 29 hours displaying over 1,600 pieces of custom, AI-generated content—all based on real-time location, weather, and traffic.

Last week we partnered with Panasonic Connect Pro AV USA to host The CineLive Experience, a 2-day workshop and showcase held in our warehouse event space. The event centered on Pansonic's PLV100 35mm CineLive studio camera alongside the workhorse UC4000 to demonstrate how these systems work together to create a seamless and powerful CineLive multi-cam production experience. 🎥

Panasonic experts, Michael Bergeron, Barry Russo, and Andy Mangrum joined us to highlight the powerful features Panasonic developed for their groundbreaking PLV100 and how it harnesses the power of broadcast while achieving the aesthetic of cinema.

Mike Nichols, Founder of Surella, shared his experience using the PLV100 for multi-cam production.

Our team constructed demo stations for attendees to get their hands on both the PLV100 and UC4000, while demonstrating how to effectively use live color grading, LUTs, and techniques for managing LED walls in frame.
