Have you wondered why we celebrate Julia especially in June?

- Julia had a special love for the Sacred Heart of Jesus, an ancient Christian devotion set in June to harmonize with Pentecost, which is the coming of the Holy Spirit.
- Julia was baptized on June 26, 1880, at her parish, Sacred Heart Parish Denver, a date celebrated annually.
- Julia died on June 7, 1918, which we honor as the day she entered eternal life and the date likely to become her yearly feast day when she becomes "St. Julia Greeley."

Thank you for celebrating June with us - it’s Julia’s month!
