On this Reconciliation Monday, I turn to You the Lord of forgiveness. Help me to feel the Advent peace growing in my heart as I await Your coming. Your death on the cross was the ultimate sacrifice of forgiveness but You still left us the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Grant me the strength to forgive as you continually forgive me. Help me today to take that step into the confessional and avail myself of Your divine mercy. May each of my trespasses end as a closing chapter in my walk on the road to righteousness. May Your spiritual healing fill my soul.
