This week, I’m sharing a personal story that surprised me. I recently decided it was time to obtain my concealed weapons permit. I was excited to take the 16-hour course, learn all the necessary safety features, and build my confidence.
But what I didn’t expect was the treatment I received. Unaware of who I was, the instructor made shocking and hurtful comments within the first 15 minutes of the class. �
I wanted to run out in tears. But a timely text from my son gave me the strength to stay put, stay silent, and complete the course I had already paid for.
