Another fantastic addition to our film production of 'Last Night with the Devil' as an Associate Producer. Welcome Lisa Campbell! Escape The Box Productions

American Actress.

Acting was never in the cards. It wasn’t until later years that she engaged in acting in independent films.

Lisa is powerful in front of the camera, but extremely passionate about writing and producing.

Her resume continues to grow with movies in production, and is currently working on her first script.

Lisa is also a committee member for The Bella Levy Foundation 5013C, a nonprofit organization against human trafficking.

A Boston native, and residing in Georgia.

It is a privilege to welcome Layla O'Shea to our film production of 'Last Night with the Devil' as an Associate Producer with Escape The Box Productions

Layla O'Shea is a Los Angeles-based screenwriter/director born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. After years of playing baseball, and running around pretending to be Superman, she grew up, went to college, graduated with an English/Communications Degree, and worked full-time while raising three children when she discovered the art of the screenplay.

Since immersing herself in screenwriting, several scripts advanced in top competitions, including the Austin Film Festival and the PAGE Awards. Her finalist feature drama, Just Say Goodbye, was produced and distributed in 2019. Her grand-prize winning drama pilot, Split Decisions, was selected into the 2022 Stowe Story Labs Producers' Lab. After directing her first SAG-AFTRA 20-minute short, A Particular Minute, the film earned the 2023 Boston International Film Festival Indie Soul Best Director award. Her ultimate goal is to continue crafting content which moves and entertains people.

Vernell Allen (He/him/his) is a New York based producer, director, writer, and stage manager originally born in Mississippi. He's directed and managed two touring shows, Theatre for Young Audiences, community theatre, and collegiate plays, the most recent being All American Boys by Jody Alperin and Vicky Crouch.

He also served as second second AD for Bruce Willis's A Day to Die. Vern is an alumnus of Mississippi State University and the Mississippi School of the Arts, and remains a student of the game.

Alvin Christmas is a NYC based actor, director, and now, associate producer.

Originally, from Star, Mississippi, Alvin moved to New York with his wife, Caroline, to study acting at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Since then, He has appeared in various projects including EVIL LIVES HERE: Season 11 Ep. 6 (2022) on Discovery ID, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE (2022), and DELTA BLIND SPOT (2020)

You can also catch him in THE BROOKLYN BUTCHER (2023), A TASTE OF YOUTH (2023), and STRANGER RAGER (2023) all coming soon.

He's excited to work along with Richard and the rest of the Escape The Box Productions team to help bring you stories with new perspectives and dare I say it, outside the box thinking (hold for applause).

Another incredibly talented person has signed on to be the Associate Producer to ‘Last Night with the Devil’ and ‘Searching’

Joseph Anthony Francis


Growing up in the Chicago area, Joseph fell in love with writing at an early age. He left Chicago for four years to attend the University of Notre Dame where he was awarded the university’s prestigious William Mitchell Award for Playwriting. Upon graduating from Notre Dame, Joseph returned to Chicago where he attended and graduated from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

While studying literature, Joseph became a huge fan of Charles Dickens whose novels were originally released in installments, each ending in a cliffhanger to keep readers coming back for more. Because of his love of those novels as well as television dramas such as Dynasty, Knots Landing, Melrose Place, and Revenge, Joseph has created several serialized sagas for contemporary audiences. In addition to developing projects for television, Joseph has also written several films which have recently been optioned for development.
