Sad news in the NSB community.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Carmine Cortese.

Services will be held this week.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 1st from 4-8pm at Settle Wilder Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 2nd at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

With six weeks left until nesting season ends, sea turtles have laid a record-breaking 1,482 nests on Volusia County beaches. This beats last year’s record of 1,427.
