I feel 2025 will bring some pretty big changes to my world of Web design. I'm hoping the craziness of the WordPress lawsuits will get resolved quickly. I know the transition to Divi 5 will require some work, but the end result will be a big improvement in speed and capabilities....

All of the WordPress drama between Matt Mullenweg and WP Engine has done damage to individual site owners and small agencies. Yes, some of the drama has effected me and the sites I build. I've made a few changes and more will be made in the near future that should keep much of this drama away for now....

Welcome back to our monthly Divi 5 progress report. We made significant progress, releasing three updates to Divi 5, fixing 237 bugs, and stabilizing the Public Alpha. New bug reports have slowed to a trickle, and this would be a good time to consider using Divi 5 to build new websites if you enjoy the experience. There are still bugs here and there, but we’re fixing them faster than they are being reported, and the overall experience feels solid....

This week really seems like the first real work week of the year and since the week before Christmas. Some companies were simply closed for a few weeks and others were limited. I had support requests in to several companies about issues and the responses were really slow and one simply hasn't responded at all....

Since it happened in the middle of a week, this has been a really lost week of news. Things will ramp up quickly with CES around the corner.
