💐🫖🥂 We're pleased to welcome English Country Dance Master Anne Calvert, a devoted admirer of Jane Austen and British cultural history, to the WYES AFTERNOON TEA: CELEBRATING 250 YEARS OF JANE AUSTEN on Wednesday, December 3 at the WYES.

Anne will offer insight into Regency-era attire and lead the Promenade.

This enchanting afternoon will honor the beloved author’s 250th birthday with champagne, fine teas, a curated reading by Nell Nolan, live piano by Michael Harold, New Orleans Celtic Harp Ensemble, traditional tea treats, and a nod to Regency fashion and culture. Attendees are encouraged — though not required — to wear their favorite era-inspired attire, including Regency fashions or classic tea-time attire.

Proceeds from the book benefit Barkus, which will distribute the funds to local animal rescue groups across the area.
