CapCut. Best App EVER!!

I've fallen in love with CapCut because of the accessibility and the ability to be able to focus on multiple platforms on just one app.

Oh… did I mention that its free!

Your all to use CapCut for TikTok, instagram and now much longer content.

Not only is CapCut on mobile, but there is a PC download version that I use for longer content such as YouTube or videos for websites.

Just recently there have been new features added such as templated and AI images! You should definitely consider CapCut for your editing.

300,000 accounts🫢

I have been able to reach over 300,000 accounts on my clients Instagram. Of course, a part of these were post but the majority was actually reels. Here is what I have been doing to reach accounts on instagram with reels.

✨High quality videos✨

Providing high quality videos is clear videography and great editing would catch someone's eye. Let's be honest, when we see a photo or video that isn't great quality or has poor editing, we scroll past it. We see reels/TikTok that have amazing editing and are aesthetically pleasing and were going to keep watching it. It's the same principle.

✨Consistency✨

Consistency doesn't mean you have to post every day. This means provide constant valuable content.

✨Caption and Text✨

By adding a snippet of what is in your caption will have your video playing on repeat while your audience is reading. Now don't write a paragraph but 1-2 sentences about what you are trying to say.

✨Trending Audios✨

Trending audios have been my holy grail since I've started reels. using audios that have under 10,000 reels under it are most likely to have higher views.

✨Insights and Metrics✨

Pay attention to your insights and metrics. In your insights you can see when your audience is on instagram the most. Use this as data to test out different post times.

Hey Im Haleigh! Im a Social Media Manager!✨

I started my journey about 3 years ago, in the midst of covid. I loved posting on social media and being able to show my creative side. During this time, I was going through a midlife crisis wondering what i really wanted to do in life.

I was originally in the medical field an grew a hate for it. I know hate is a strong word but I was miserable. I heard from a family member about being a social media manager. I NEVER KNEW THERE WAS SUCH A THING!

I did my research and months of trainings and courses to learn and expand my knowledge. Here I am 3 years later, a freelance social media manager doing what I love best.

I specialize in video editing and content creation. I love being able to create: Something out of “nothing”.

IM BACK!! It's been a while since I've been back on social media and actually posted. Let me tell you what's been going on in my life.

I decided to go back to when i started my business. I had a list of 3 different names but this was in my top 5. I really feel in love with this name but decided on Savvy mass media. But I’m falling back in love with who i was in the beginning of my journey and that’s what I’m going for.

I took a really long mental break from social media, but I am back now! New name , New niche, new EVERYTHING!

I have decided to share more lifestyle content with a mix of video editing and content creation. I want to really showcase who I am and what I am capable of.

Has your engagement on stories been so flat lately?!?

🙃Fewer story views… less engagement? 🙃

Here are some ways i got my story views and engagement up!

➞Q&A
Question boxes are a way to build a ton of engagement and build a personal connection with your following. Just by simply talking about your day or anything going on in your business, add a question box and ask a quest hat will be a very engaging topic.

➞Share your day
One of the best ways to build a connection with your audience is by showing who you truly are. Show some BTS work that you are doing, you making your coffee or tea. Showing the person behind the business will build trust.

➞Market research
Know what your audience wants. I've noticed for me and my clients that creating content for your audience rather than yourself will boost your views. what your audience needs are the most important thing.

➞Polls
Polls are known for bringing the biggest engagement to my stories. It's just so simple to click through a story and tap a button to answer a question.

➞Share business tips
Once a week I provide value to my stories about topics within my content pillars. I make sure that the mini-training is valuable, what my audience needs, and interactive. add polls and question boxes all throughout.

➞This or that quizzes
With this or that questions your can either use polls or questions boxes. You can do topics like your favorite vacation spot or what foods you prefer. this is my favorite way of bringing engagement to my stories.

➞About your slides
Share a few slides about who you are and how you got started. This can be another form of trust-building.

💚Let's talk about evergreen content!💚

Evergreen content is content that remains relevant "forever." Many businesses use evergreen content to continuously value even years after its release.

The benefits of creating evergreen content are:
-Driving prospects to your sales funnels
-Bringing continuous traffic to your website
- Connection your audience on social media platforms.

Here is how you can create evergreen content :
-Think like a beginner
Instead of thinking "I know how this works" say " How does this work"

-Break down your content
this means taking your current content, repurposing it, revising it, and redirecting it. For example, If you made a post about how to get story views then, you might create a reel on how to boost story views.

- Remove time-related words
Make sure to keep words like yesterday, tomorrow, or dates out of your content. You don't want to read a post that says UPCOMING EVENT but it was a year ago.

✨I've recently become obsessed with funnels.✨

An IG funnel is a set of steps a page visitor will take before they make a purchase.

The steps of a funnel are
Top of funnel- Awareness
Middle of funnel- Interest/decision
Bottom of the funnel- Purchasing/DM

🤍Awareness is the funnel you check your follower count and focus on conversation rate.

🤍Intrest/decision is the funnel is the number of comments and likes you receive per post, or how people are clicking on your bio.

🤍Purchasing is the funnel where you focus on how many conversations you are receiving through Instagram.
