This upcoming Monday's show (June 3rd) focuses on the Lakeport Opera House in Laconia and their new renovations, Newport happenings including the upcoming Brewfest, Chamber events, a needle felting class, the summer solstice guided wine tasting event, Livery events in Sunapee, Wags and Wiggles Rescue's upcoming Mutt Mingles this summer. Also discussed is Matt's love of dim lighting in the bathroom, and Ashlee and Matt's shared hatred of fluorescent lighting.

On this week's show, we discuss New Hampshire Magazine's list of statewide places to find the best burgers, including our own local Little Brother Burger Company in New London. We also discuss the next Sugar River Region Social event at Bascom Maple Farms in Acworth (Or Alstead...or both) on March 26th, the Lake Sunapee Chamber After Hours event at Hungry Hearts Gym and Kitchen in New London, shows coming up at the Lebanon Opera House, places to eat before or after said shows at the Lebanon Opera House, and the Newport Library Arts Center's survey with Sullivan County for the Arts and how our region's offerings bring in more people per percentage than many regions in the state, showcasing the multitude of events happening within our little slice of New Hampshire.

Excited to extend our Daytrip Destinations show to Mondays and Wednesdays starting this week! You can hear us Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 9am to 10am and then the encore Friday show on Saturdays at 4pm! We can cover more local events, more local businesses and more local fun!! I know money is tighter these days for many, however if you're able to contribute to a great local cause, Ashlee Rowley and the Tri Chamber Champions are walking in the Turning Points 5K tomorrow, and I'd love to throw them some support from our Daytrip Destinations listeners and beyond. 1 dollar, 5 dollars, 20, anything helps keep victims of domestic violence locally in our communities, by providing them secure, confidential services so they're not alone during a time of trauma.
