Crime is boiling ladies and gents. More frequent violent crimes are occurring and the country is going through a bit of a violent wave.
Not this is no different than 30 years ago except for one thing…now many laws are non-existent, we have a much more fragile society, meaning many of us are EASY targets for criminals.

Country livin…a good thirty minutes from a major city is a nice buffer. All farms or large properties surrounding where you live.
Plenty of space between properties, no neighbors in your face/business and small town businesses close by. Despite not being in your face like nosey city folk, locals are friendly, say hello engage in conversation if you want and if not, they are cordial and keep it pushin.
Closest Walmart/Starbucks etc about 20 mins away. Noise pollution at the bare bare minimum, nonexistent after sundown…plenty of open roads to jog,bike or rip a race car on…

We stupid stupid for living in cities when we have the ability to move somewhere else. If you like the city life cool, but to me that’s not living, that’s not how we’re supposed to live as human beings, on top of each other.
To each their own though…sometimes we are prisoners of our own ignorance, I understand that also.
I just know anytime I have seen a child from the city experience the rural life, they absolutely love it. There’s something to be said for that.
When you take a country kid out the rural environment, they might have fun and enjoy the city…but they’ll always miss that country living.
