Sunday night's Eclectic Radio should live up to our show's name. New and old music from Mark Kozelek, Classic from Elliot Smith, new artists (to me) Jesse Marchant, Black books, & Front Country among others. PLUS - new BEATLES! Without a lot of fanfare (in other words, I missed this) the Beatles Hollywood Bowl album was remastered and re-released this year. This is huge because the original recording was horrible. So bad it was never (that I saw) released on CD. The producers of this version used an interesting technique - they"de-mixed" the recordings to remove all the audience screams. The result?
