Zombie Beast Films, a local production company founded by award-winning independent filmmaker Vince Burkett, is proud to announce the world premiere of their latest film, "Rotten: Welcome to the Freak Show." The highly anticipated event will take place at Boardman Movies 8 in Youngstown, Ohio on March 24th, 2024 at 6pm.
"Rotten: Welcome to the Freak Show" is a horror film that follows a bullied youth with a skin disease, after being attacked and left for dead by classmates he is recused by a side show ring master and forced into a carnival side show.The film promises to be a thrilling and hilarious ride, with Burkett's signature blend of horror and humor. The film features a talented cast of local actors and was shot entirely in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
"We are beyond excited to share our latest film with the world," said Burkett. "We put our heart and soul into this project, and we can't wait for audiences to experience it. It's a love letter to the horror genre and a celebration of our local community."

Zombie Beast films is currently seeking an actor to play a large role in an upcoming horror film. By the time you read this the film will already be in progress. Shooting takes place on Saturdays, for 8 to 10 hours one day a week. Position is voluntary at this point but may turn into a permanent paid position.
