My greatest honor was being your mom. You brought me and your brother so much happiness.

Countless adventures—living in a car, then a van. All those fishing trips… Being there through Art school, watching me become an adult & start my business- you were there for ALL OF IT. We spent most holidays just the two of us, before R***r joined our pack. I almost can’t remember a time you weren’t in my life.

Grateful is an understatement for what I feel to have had you as my family. Praying to harness your strength to help R***r through this, he won’t leave your bed. Our hearts are absolutely shattered.

It’s the simple joys that create change in our lives. Our constants like your dogs love that make even the most unbearable moments, bearable.

It’s been 13 years since Ziggy came into my life. I took a cross country road-trip (shocker) & saw him at a shelter in Arizona. He wouldn’t come out of hiding for anyone until I walked in-front and he crawled out from hiding and came right up to me, like we chose each other. It was the closest thing I’d ever experienced to love at first sight— a moment that changed my story forever.

I never intended at 19 years old to adopt a puppy, my roommate and I were going to try and adopt an old dog together. But God had other plans.

I’ve never worked harder at anything. I truly believe the best things in life are earned by working for them. It’s the failures and setbacks that keep us motivated to work harder & smarter, sharpening our skills. It’s that same determination that leads to the best things in life. It’s about embracing the work, not playing pretend.

We fear the unknown forgetting that it’s the greatest part of our experience. If we know how a story ends, would you even want to pick up the book? We have to bet on ourselves especially because the future is unknown.

Nothing is perfect and thank God it’s not cause how boring would that be? Hard work over time = rewards. I’m betting on YOU too. LFG. ♥️🎨✏️

The start of an oil painting earlier this year… then a homeless person broke into my car and stole it in the 2024 raid I wasn’t invited to in Denver. It’s nice to know it’s being appreciated, half finished. Lowkey- I was totally flattered. ☺️ This easily could have been a weird love story. Man falls in love with your art….you come across the painting years later in a art clients office and find out your work provided light in a dark time and turned their life around…just saying that’s some stuff. Or maybe I’ve pondered this situation too long. 😂

Wake up in the van in the middle of the desert, go for a crazy hike, dodging rattle snakes….drive to the next camp spot, get the van stuck….no service….dig for hours in 100 degree heat, to realize… yo, we might die out here (delusional laughing)…hike to service…to be saved by the cops, become best friends w/ them while they share stories of the places we’ve been…”the most dangerous in the state….ppl go missing all the time, we pull out a lot of bodies from there” 🤯

What do you feel? I genuinely want to know how different my feelings and thoughts are on basic life things like this….to me it’s simple, took me years to get it but It’s called the present because it truly is a gift…. • At this point in my life I take things day by day and try to feel as much as I can in every moment. This is how I experience it all and pour that into my art. How can I know when inspiration will strike or I need to just be with my dogs…Once you live as a nomad it’s hard to adapt to planning when you’ve seen how beautiful unexpected moments unfold when you’re available for it. ♥️
