Texas Veterans for Medical Ma*****na and Veterans Educating Texas Coalition represent veterans who advocate for a whole plant medical cannabis program in our state. This conference will inform veterans about current medical cannabis issues and initiatives in Texas, including the Texas Compassionate Use Program, which allows qualified patients to legally use cannabis as medicine for conditions such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, cancer, neurological disorders, and many other conditions.

Last night, we heard the story of Michael Thompson a man who served over 25 years for a nonviolent cannabis offense. Every second of his Fireside Chat with Steve DeAngelo, the Father of the legal cannabis industry, was inspirational.
