Today's Good News: Jake, a 9-year-old Doberman who spent over two years at a UK shelter, got a home for the holidays! Picked up as a stray, he was scared of dogs, people and just about everything else. He also suffered from mild hip dysplasia that required treatment. He was adopted once but returned. After behavioral and medical care, and lots of love and patience from the shelter staff, Jake met with shelter visitors John and Amanda, who spent weeks getting to know him before making his adoption official. After 862 days in the shelter, Jake finally found his forever family. ❤️👏😍🙌🥰🥹🎄👍😘❤️

Today's good news story comes from Kenilworth, England. Jake, a 9-year-old Doberman who spent over two years at Dogs Trust in Kenilworth, finally has a family to call his own—just in time for Christmas.

Today's Good News: An IN couple are selling 1,000 Christmas trees, and know exactly where the profits are going. They planted the trees a decade ago to help send their eight grandkids to college. If they were to ship 60% of their total stock at a median price of $83, they’d pocket just shy of $50K. Presuming expenses and taxes of 20% of the take-home, they’d close the season at around $39,000. If all 8 grandkids go to college, they’s each get about $4,875 from their grandparents. That's a good start on tuition. ❤️🙌😍👏🎄🥰👍😘

Bittersweet Farms is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and is closed on Sundays.

Today's Good News: (Be warned - you may cry when you watch this video.) A company called Klick Health surprised a bunch of employees with a much-needed hug. They posted a video where they interview the employees and ask about a loved one they haven't been able to spend the holidays with in a while. The company first produced some amazing AI embraces for the workers missing loved ones - then, those heartwarming deep-fakes lead to surprise appearances ending in real-life in-person hugs as their loved ones walked in the door. 🥹😭❤️👏🥰🙌🥰👍😘

Research has shown that hugs go beyond a simple embrace—they fill us with feelings of care, comfort, and connection that stay with us. That’s why, this year,...

Today's Good News: A six-year-old Oregon girl with a heart condition had a medical emergency and stopped breathing at a screening of "Moana 2". Luckily, a retired fire captain named Danny Moreno happened to be there with his granddaughter. The girl’s family yelled for someone to call 911, but Danny climbed over several rows of seats . . . was there in seconds . . . and told them, "I know what to do. It's okay." Paramedics eventually got her to a hospital, and she's alright. She was just upset she missed the movie. ❤️🙌🥰👏😍🧑‍🚒👍😘

The 2:10 p.m. showing for Disney’s newly released "Moana 2" last Sunday was only a few minutes into the previews at Medford’s Tinseltown when Central Point resident Danny Moreno shifted

Today's Good News: A 32 year old UK woman named Jessica Riggs needs back surgery to treat a rare disease which could leave her paralyzed. It’ll cost $32,000 to have the treatment in Spain, as it’s not available through the National Health Service. Her friends got together to help her make a n**e calendar, inspired by the movie “Calendar Girls”, to raise money to pay for it. They're all naked, but strategically covered up. Jessica is now due to have surgery in Barcelona on January 16 next year. She said “It is incredible how strangers are so generous.” ❤️🙌😍👏🥰👍😘

Today's Good News: Two brothers in northern MI spent over two hours saving a deer that fell through the ice on Lake Huron. They were very careful - checking the ice on the way in and out, wearing ice gear that floats, had ice picks, a ladder, rope, jet sleds and somebody watching and assisting from shore. They cheered when she sprinted off . . . then watched her fall through AGAIN. So they ended up saving her twice. ❤️👏😍🙌 🥰👍😘

A pair of Michigan brothers came to the aid of a deer that fell through the ice covering an Upper Peninsula bay -- and then rescued it a second time moments later.

Today's Good News: For 15 years, someone's been putting Christmas lights on a random pine tree on the side of a MT highway, and it's a sweet story. Trucker German Segura started doing it just to make his wife smile. He was driving his regular Texas-to-Calgary route in 2009, and was on the phone with her when he saw a lonely tree in a field, so she joked that he should go dress it up. He tied some ribbons on it that year, but promised he'd do a better job on his next trip. Now he stops every year to add a bunch of lights and ornaments. She doesn't travel, so he sends her the pictures. No one knew who was doing it until he found a note tied to the tree in 2017 that said, "Thank you. You have no idea how much impact you have in the community." The couple who left the note added their phone number, so he called them, and they've been helping him decorate it ever since. ❤️🙌😍🎄👏🥰👍😘

For the past 15 winters motorists travelling on a remote stretch of the Interstate 90 have noticed a lone pine tree with elaborate decorations. Its creator? A loving husband

Today's Good News: The charity Building Homes for Heroes just gave away its 400th home. It went to Joshua Sager, a U.S. Army vet in TX, who was severely injured while deployed in 2015. He said that he and his wife couldn't be happier or more grateful for their new home that's fully paid off. The founder of the charity launched it shortly after 9/11, and started out doing one home a year. Now they're doing an average of one home every eight days. ❤️🙌😍👏🥰🇺🇸👍😘

Building Homes for Heroes founder Andy Pujol highlights the mission of his nonprofit on ‘Fox News Live’ alongside U.S. Army veteran Joshua Sager, who received the organization’s 400th mortgage-free home.

Today's Good News: A tiny chihuahua was rescued by Houston firefighters last Friday after someone saw her sitting on the base of a bridge's support beam, surrounded by water. Her name is Burbie. She jumped to get away from a rescuer, but they pulled her out of the water and she’s fine. She'd been missing for several days after bolting out the door without her collar. Her owners saw the story on the news, recognized Burbie, and had an emotional reunion with her last weekend. ❤️👏😍🙌🥰🧑‍🚒👍😘

The dog was feisty when she was being rescued, but was in a much better mood when she was reunited with her family.
