So here are our Tips for Staying Young and continuing to broaden the Musical Library within your brain.

1) listen to all the new local Indie rock available on ForestRadio.com
2) attend Homebrew Thursdays Indie Rock shows The Enchanted Forest & Music Hall
3) oh and sip on a local craft beer from Floyd County Brewing Company while you’re feeding your head. It’ll open your mind.

The thrill of discovering new songs and new sounds can enrich people of all ages. Except, most of the time, it doesn't. Why does our willingness to explore new or unfamiliar music decline with age? Timothy McKenry explains.
