JamAlong Music

JamAlong Music is a children's music education program in Nevada County. Rhythm • Singing • Move Music Exploration is designed for 4.5 - 8 yr olds.

Group classes build on each child's inherent musical expression to increase their basic music skills: singing in tune, maintaining a steady beat, dancing, improvising, and instrument play. These skills are explored through music and movement games, props, costumes, stories, drama, imaginative play, and instruments - rich bass xylophones, resonant glockenspiels and metallophones, world beat instrum

ents, fun sound effects. We'll sing and dance and explore music in incredibly diverse and creative ways. Older children learn to play the recorder. Music Together family music classes for birth-4 and parent/caregivers are also available.
