This year's Gary Garrison Playwriting Festival was compelling, thought provoking and an all around wonderful experience. None of this could have happened without the tireless work of three woman. These ladies spent hours and hours of their time carefully reading and rating each play submitted to this year's festival. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. - Ashley Riley, Artistic Director

Play: Glacial Decline
By: Donna Latham
Actress: Dana Howard

"Working on Glacial Decline has been quite an interesting experience. I've had to dig deep to find the emotional power that my character really needs. Even though it's a short piece, the writer really gives us, as actors, some difficult emotions to experience and portray. It's been a while since I've had the opportunity to perform a piece that is so emotional, that has the potential to really make people feel something.

I feel honored to have the opportunity to be a part of this festival. I heard about it last year, but I was unable to even attend, but I'm excited I was able to work it into my schedule this year. I hope to participate again next year!"
