We are thrilled to have Kacy Young on board full-time this semester as she completes her senior internship requirement with NSULA Hospitality Management & Tourism. Upon the completion of her internship in May, Kacy will graduate from Northwestern State University with degrees in both History AND Hospitality Management and Tourism. 🤘

Kacy joined our team as a part-time Heritage Ranger back in 2022, and if you’ve ever taken her tour we’re sure you know just how deep her love for Cane River runs! She is excited to get to work blending her two fields of study by sharing meaningful stories and creating memorable visitor experiences. We know that her enthusiasm and passion will only continue to enhance our mission of preserving and sharing the heritage of the Cane River region with y’all!

Be on the lookout for new projects coming from this internship in the coming months, but don’t worry, you’ll still be able to catch her giving a walking tour or two! 😉
