I believe that Billboard once had a holiday hits chart. Christmas songs are timeless, and Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" turns 30 this year. It's not the only "ghost of Christmas past" that is running up the chart during this holiday season.

Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” returns to No. 1 for a 15th week atop the Billboard Hot 100.

From The Tennessean: How about Jordan Rainey and top-ranked Tennessee Basketball 🏀 ? I watched most of this physical battle on FOX on Saturday afternoon. It wasn't Tennessee's best day, but they found a way to win. That speaks volumes about this team's potential.

Jordan Gainey led Tennessee with 23 points, hitting a buzzer-beating layup to lift the Vols to a win at Illinois to stay unbeaten.

David Plazas of The Tennessean and USA TODAY states it well: I count Operation Warp Speed as one of President-elect Donald J. Trump's top achievements in his first term. I received my influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations at Kroger pharmacy this fall, and I encourage all Cloud Nine Higher fans and followers to receive yours if you have not already done so.

Operation Warp Speed's COVID vaccine is arguably the greatest accomplishment of Trump's first term, but he has turned his back on that success.

From AP: The pardon of Hunter Biden by President Joe Biden has proven to be unpopular. This latest series of commutations and pardons will probably not be viewed as critically as the pardon for Hunter. Pardons relieve a person of guilt, and commutations reduce or eliminate punishment.

The president is also pardoning 39 Americans convicted of nonviolent crimes. The move follows a pardon for his son Hunter, who was prosecuted for gun and tax crimes.

Billboard provides excellent coverage of Morgan Wallen's conditional guilty plea on Thursday in the Criminal Court for Davidson County, Tennessee. The plea was for two misdemeanor charges reduced from three felony charges and one misdemeanor charge. If Mr. Wallen serves seven days in a DUI education center and pays a $350 fine and court costs, his charges will be eligible for dismissal and expungement.

President Joe Biden has yet to leave office, so it's a bit early to be discussing his legacy. To be certain, his decision to run for a second term and then to withdraw after a disastrous debate against Donald J. Trump in June of this year will impact his legacy a lot more than his pardon of Hunter Biden will.

In 2013, God called me to create Cloud Nine Higher. I was humbled and excited to reach out to single individuals in their 20s and early 30s in ways never before imagined. But as with many quests of faith, Cloud Nine Higher experienced some challenges along with other business ventures of mine. It all came to a screeching halt in 2017. As my world came unraveled, I thought that I might never practice law in the traditional sense again. I certainly wasn’t going to publish a magazine or blog.

But God sees his people through challenges and has a way of setting us back on the path he chose for us. And so the Cloud Nine Higher brand revived in time for my 46th birthday on July 1, 2019. I have learned a lot and will continue to do so. The naysayers and voices of doubt are being silenced. God is good all the time, even when we cannot see him.

So welcome back to Cloud Nine Higher. If you have a strong sense of self and sense of humor too, this brand is for you. If you prefer thinking over talking, this brand is for you. If you are in your 20s or 30s (as I once was) and are independent, grounded, attractive in your own right, you have come to the right place. You will see the best of Faith, Fast Times, and Allure. Gorgeous women in states of dress and undress who you can actually meet in person because they live in your area. All the best sports banter - Major League Baseball and NCAA football and hoops. Dating, s*x, pop culture, law, politics, and the best Nashville after hours life you can imagine. Be real and expect the same of others. Respect yourself and others, too.

The name inspiration comes from a pop song that emerged in about 2011 - “Higher” recorded by Taio Cruz featuring Travie McCoy and Kylie Minogue in alternate versions. This brand is taking me higher. And I hope that it will take you higher, too.
