I'm Jennika AKA J.Watts of JWatts Recording. I started enjoying music in the womb, once caught jigging to a blues artist in my stroller. I soon grew to play background electric for my mama in the living room, often using solo spotlights to showcase It's A Small, Small World. I was in band from 6th grade up through high school, eventually joining the Band of Blue at MTSU. At MT, I studied audio eng

ineering. I learned from some great professors and met a ton of talents people who I still love to work with to this day. The studio is a home based operation. I use ProTools, a MXL microphone, and a bad ass environment. I'm always upgrading equipment and other studio aspects. I can't wait to upgrade and move to a commercial location. :)

Our Story

My story is a humble one. I'm kidding. What up. I'm Jennika AKA J.Watts of JWatts Recording. I'm based in Murfreesboro and I am from good ole Franklin, TN. I started enjoying music in the womb, once caught jigging to a blues artist in my stroller. I soon grew to play background electric for my mama in the living room, often using solo spotlights to showcase It's A Small, Small World. I was in band from 6th grade up through high school, eventually joining the Band of Blue at MTSU. I had a couple trumpet solos here and there, 1st chair and all that. At MT, I studied audio engineering. Pretty straight forward, I learned from some great professors and met a freaking crapload of talents mfers who I still love to work with to this day. The studio is a home based operation. I use ProTools, a MXL microphone, and a bad ass environment. I'm always upgrading equipment and other studio aspects. I can't wait to upgrade and move to a commercial location. :) Let's see if we can make some magic together.
