The team over at Disco Donnie Presents continue to ensure that Leon Jackson's legacy is not lost, while his presence may not be here with us on Earth. A new scholarship fund has been established at the Blair School of Music in honor of Leon Jackson, the late music and event promoter who introduced a generation of Nashvillians to electronic dance music.

But above all, he was an observer and listener. And he understood the importance of understanding diversity in life and its potential in business.”

Leon will forever be missed by our community. The friends and the family that was created solely on this man living his dream out and just wanting to bring people together is invaluable. Today we remember and think about him a little bit more than we do any other day that he's in our minds. He will forever be missed and we know he's still dancing up in the clouds with us with his infectious smile from ear to ear. We miss you every single day, Leon.

Today we remember DDP team member Leon Jackson. Leon had a passion for music and his love for the art form was central to who he was. He was active in the Nashville music community and flourished as a leader and mentor, and made everyone feel like a friend.

5 years ago Leon's life came to an end, but his time on earth left an indelible impression on so many people. We miss and love you, Leon!
