Having logged time in his professional career as a producer, recording engineer, musician, staff songwriter and music publisher, one could say that Bill Warner has just about seen and done it all. He first picked up a guitar at age 8 and studied music with his father who was a bandleader and recording studio owner in Youngstown, Ohio. In a quest to broaden his musical palette, he studied jazz arra

nging and guitar at Youngstown State University also performing with the nationally recognized college Jazz Ensemble I led by the late Tony Leonardi. After touring the country with various musical endeavors, Bill headed to Nashville along with his spouse, hit songwriter/performer/ Kirsti Manna. They were both signed to a publishing deal which Bill was later able to parlay into an engineering career in the Nashville studio scene. First working at Reba McEntire's Starstruck Publishing company, he eventually become a busy freelance engineer, working at dozens of Nashville's best studios. Although he's logged engineering credits with artists such as Michael W. Smith, The Gaither Vocal Band, Mindy Smith, Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks, and many others, his focus is now on matters both musical and technical. That synergistic relationship fits nicely in his present role as both a music producer and engineer. A lover of diverse musical styles, he keeps a creative edge working projects ranging from rock, dance-pop, to country and bluegrass. Recent production projects include the country rockers Crossroad Station, Americana artist Jessie Veeder, Ben Robinson of Nick Cannon's boy band, Four Count, country rock band Crossroad Station, and a rock project with The Ryan Michaels Band which had appearances on The Kardashians and other reality TV shows. Other credits include mixer on "The Rust-eze Song" from the Pixar film "Cars" and "Cotton Eye Joe' from the motion picture "Cowgirls and Angels , vocal sessions with country hit-makers Lonestar, and Christian artists Avalon. Another interesting project Bill was recently involved in was cutting vocals for Cowboy Troy of Big & Rich fame performing his hit, "I Play Chicken With the Train" adeptly performed in Simlish for the classic video game, The Sims 2. Bill typically does his track sessions on Nashville's Music Row, but he also has a beautiful and fully equipped project studio in Old Hickory, TN. The studio is located 1 block off of scenic Old Hickory Lake just northeast of Nashville, TN. It features an 18 X 24 studio/control room with a 12 ft. peak ceiling with cedar beams, oak floors, and a variety of lighting ambiences to suit a clients mood while they create.
