Jug-band pioneer and songster Jim Kweskin joins me on the show this week. We talk about making his new album "Never Too Late", and get into his long and fascinating history coming up in the Cambridge folk scene of the early 60's. Jim's band The Jim Kweskin Jug Band featured Geoff and Maria Muldaur, Bill Keith, Fritz Richmond and others, and was a highly influential and successful group that inspired musicians like The Lovin' Spoonful and The Grateful Dead to dig deep into the archives of American Folk Music. Jim has continued to make great records and tour around the world, and we get into all of it today!
