In 5 days, we’re starting our May series of “Thanks for showing up.” With the balancing of busy schedules, family, friends, work, health, and hobbies, it can be a lot to attend everything on the list. But we’re here to thank you for each time you do show up for yourself and for others. Even when you’re tired/unmotivated and the to-do list is miles long. You’re doing great things, and it shows. So, thanks for showing up!

With a new year brings new beginnings. In February of 2023 we are completely changing the brand of Model Positive. After months of consideration, observing, and drafting plans - I’ve decided to put my energy into another field I’m passionate about: designing organizational and motivational tools, apps, and resources. These tools will be directed towards the busy CEOs, Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Employees, College Students, and people just looking to get a fresh perspective on organization and growing within their career and lifestyle. The new Model Positive Company (as no longer a talent recruiting agency) stands for “Modeling A Positive Lifestyle.” A full lifestyle and career paper planner is in the works as well as other tools, digital resources, articles, and more. I love the name Model Positive Company and what it stands for, I can’t wait to share more soon.

What’s the difference between a manager vs. an agent? Often the two roles get confused.
• A manager is one who helps guide the talents career, brand, and makes sure they get signed to the right team/ agency
• An agent is one who strictly books gigs for the talent and negotiates contracts with the directors and talent.

Hopefully this helped answer some questions! Also you can have both a manager and an agent at the same time 🤓

Slow down you’re literally doing fine! In case you needed a reminder today. Everyone in the workforce and especially in the entertainment industry can feel deep in the trenches of exhaustion at times. If this is you- take a deep breath and know better days are ahead!

I told a friend that lately I’ve “just been taking deep breaths.” Most of the time in the industry or workforce we’re the hardest on ourselves. We’re our own worst critiques. I guarantee if you tell yourself this every morning- you’ll feel 10x better throughout the day!

All negative aside- we’re strolling in for the positive. What does putting positive back into the industry look like? We have a few ideas.
1.) Sharing our talent to not only inspire others, but support the community. Stop shaming others for trying.
2.) Uplift others- not tearing each other down. We can do this by support groups, polite and uplifting social media interactions and in person interactions.
3.) Spread good for those in need: charities, volunteer events, and more. We may be busy artists, models, performers, but there’s people out there that need our help.
4.) Listen to those who are in need. The entertainment industry can be cruel, but you don’t need to be. Be a friend to someone and listen.

Most of all…stay positive my friends. Much more of to come

Hi MP followers! First off, thank you to all of those still sending dms and following our page. At the moment we are shifting things with and with every shift comes with time and patience. The team and I have decided that model training may not be in the cards for 2022. But we believe model positive will thrive in another light and opportunity to come, as of now we are in the process of making something beautiful!
