Lainey Wilson, a first-time nominee, is the most nominated this year with six nods. The Country Music Association has announced nominees for “The 58th Annual CMA Awards,” as determined by eligible voting CMA members comprised of professionals within the Country Music industry. Morgan Wallen tops the list with seven nominations, while other top nominees include Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton with five nominations, and Post Malone and Lainey Wilson with four nominations each. The Country Music Association has revealed this year’s hosts and performers for the 14th annual network holiday special, CMA Country Christmas, set to air Dec. 14 on ABC at 7 p.m. CT.
Hosted by Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood, CMA Country Christmas will feature performances by Grant, Yearwood, Jordan Davis, Lady A, Ashley McBryde, Jon Pardi, Lindsey Stirling, The War And Treaty, Zach Williams and Lainey Wilson

The 56th Annual Country Music Association Awards will be held on November 9, 2022 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Luke Bryan will host the ceremony for the second time, with Peyton Manning as his co-host.
Country music's biggest night is returning this fall. The 56th annual CMA Awards will once again air live from Music City a.k.a. Nashville. Sarah Trahern, CMA chief executive officer, has said that the show "will without a doubt live up to its expectation this year.”
Luke Bryan is set to host for a second consecutive year—but this time around, he will have a co-host: Peyton Manning. “During an evening when we celebrate the best of the best in Country Music, we are thrilled to have two award-winning hosts at the helm!" Trahern said in a press release.
Rob Mills, executive vice president, Unscripted and Alternative Entertainment, Walt Disney Television, noted that Bryan and Manning's "dynamic chemistry and magnetic friendship are the perfect anchors for this year’s star-studded show.”
