The real writer to Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise had passed.

Sad news to hear of Lora Johnson’s passing today.

She was a very kind soul and played a small part in helping me with some aspects of my revised TOS Enterprise cutaway. Once in a while she’d email me and we’d enjoy the occasional conversation.

Her Mr. Scotty’s Guide to The Enterprise was/is required reading for nerds like us. Thank you Lora for your contribution to Star Trek and Star Wars canon.

Any cultural critic or media scholar would tell you that Star Trek, as an enterprise (pun mildly intended), helped invent a model for fandom through its faithful following originating in the '60s.
