The Film: “Beyond the Finish Line” will follow Marisa as she trains for the Bigfoot 200. That’s a 200 mile race, in case you were wondering. While it’s already an incredible feat to train for and race ultra marathons (especially ones measured in hundreds), Marisa’s challenge is a bit more than just going out and putting in the miles: she is in recovery from an eating disorder.
Our goals for this documentary include destigmatizing an often-private challenge that affects people across all genders, supporting the notion that recovery is ongoing, and that people can accomplish incredible feats while healing their relationship with food. We are proud of Marisa and know that this is an important story to tell.
We are asking folks who believe in this message to help us fundraise towards the production costs of this film, and we have rad perks for folks who join our @indiegogo campaign.
