We're sad to hear of the passing of Freeman Cockram earlier this week. We got to know Freeman as the dobro player for the Bluegrass Travelers, they played for our New River Jamboree show numerous times. As a tribute to Freeman, on Saturday at 3 PM on the Jamboree we'll play the set they did in the WNRV studio in March 2013.

The next 2 weeks of the Mountain Music Show will focus on Henry Reed, since we're in the homestretch for this year's Henry Reed Memorial Celebration on June 13-15 at Kairos. The show airs Tuesday 2-3 PM & Thursday 6-7 PM.
Now that we have an official event, we gotta have a flyer.
