The number of students in need of support to learn the English language rose by 241 from last school year, and now sits at 4,204. This means 15.8% of Indian Prairie School District 204's roughly 26,000 students are classified as English Learners.

An influx of Russian and Ukrainian-speaking students is creating a new need in District 204's English Language Learning program.
