The lightning-caused Gwen Fire has grown to cover 28,805 acres as fire crews continue to work on suppression efforts. A community meeting on the fire is scheduled for 6pm at Lapwai Elementary School.
The Gwen fire covers over 27,000 acres near Lewiston. Now, road closures and evacuations have been released for the area.

Teton Pass remains closed as crews work on the interim detour. A time-lapse released by the Wyoming Department of Transportation on June 18 shows the progression of construction since the roadway collapsed on June 8. Officials hope to have the detour open before the Fourth of July holiday.
