If so, you may want to turn in your ‘legal residence’ application and supporting documents before Wednesday, May 31, 2023! That’s two weeks away!

These documents are due to the Assessor’s Office (1301 2nd Avenue, Conway SC 29526). If needed, you can fill out the application online here — https://onbaseweb.horrycounty.org/appnet_16/UnityForm.aspx?key=UFKey

Turning the documents in by May 31 ensures your tax bill (which you will see later in the year) will be at the residential (4%) rate.

‘Legal Residence’ is a statewide special tax assessment rate for those who own and live in a home in SC.

Hey everyone! I just had an amazing adventure at Huntington Beach State Park and I have to share it with you! We spotted 30 alligators while walking along the marshy areas of the park.

It was an incredible sight to see these ancient creatures basking in the sun and swimming gracefully through the water. But remember to keep a safe distance and never approach them, as they can be dangerous if provoked.

Overall, I highly recommend visiting Huntington Beach State Park if you get the chance, while in the area. There is so much natural beauty and wildlife to see here, including these fascinating alligators. Have you ever seen alligators up close before? Let me know in the comments?
