Founded in 2001 by CEO Gary Devon Dotson, Nite Vision Entertainment set out to change music by merging traditional business ethics with music that stays ahead of the game. Created to grow into a full-service entertainment company, Dotson has spent years in the field employing top music professionals into each of the companies now seven departments. Known for his versatile music production talents,
the company started with just one man creating music that would go on to inspire thousands in the industry. From there, Dotson created NVE Records, as well as NVE's own in-house publisher NVER Publishing, to bring his vision of “Movement Music” back into the light. Signing a handful of exceptional artists in various genres, Dotson got to further sharpen his proverbial production tool while creating albums in the Pop, R&B, Country, Christian, Rock, EDM, and Hip Hop genres. NVE Records is also home to an outstanding team that specializes in artist development, design and PR. Also residing under the Nite Vision Entertainment umbrella is MDT (Musical Dream Team), a songwriting company that was co-founded by Dotson and NVE Records recording artist Mandi Leigh in 2011. Specializing in all genres, MDT has acquired international credits with various placements and continues to write for various artists and licensing endeavors. Through international licensing projects, NVE has formed relationships with many companies including; MTV, MTV2, Fuse, Vh1, Telemundo, TLC, OWN, Bravo, WEtv, CW, Lexus, New Music Live, Style Network, Lifetime and many others.
