We were pumped to host another Post Malone event. This one was a private party/concert. The last pic shows the custom cookies they left in the trailer. They added a little Utah in there with the Elder Malone Mormon missionary!

Our wardrobe rack shelving is designed and built in-house to be a better solution to the manufacturers version or the homemade palette board options that fall off. We designed these to stay put!!! They’re lightweight and durable. Add some bungee cords or lightweight rope cinch ratchets to keep laundry baskets or boxes in place.

Mullet owns one of a handful of purpose-built fuelers in the state. If you’re shooting cars, motorcycles, atvs, or anything in a remote location this can be a true timesaver. If you’re shooting a film, obviously you need one of these as well!

4 days of wardrobe safely secured for travel by the motorhome driver. With the hydraulic lift gate raised to the same level as this interior room, this space doubles in size once deployed making it easy for the excess wardrobe to be rolled out onto the lift gate making the interior workspace larger while freeing up the built in changing room.

We have massive amounts of green carpeting you can rent to create talent holding or dressing rooms inside warehouses, garages, the great outdoors, anywhere you’d like some protection from the concrete or earth and so forth.

We’ve been doing spring cleaning around here and getting these carpeting rolls nice and clean then re-rolled for the next project.

Mullet is the largest production supply rental house in the state of Utah and we carry all the things you need and all the things you didn’t know you needed! Shooting all over the west we’ve learned what makes sense for producers to buy in the middle of nowhere and what they’re better served to get from Mullet.

Posted up in the delivery bay & lunch set up by the motorhome driver. Our drivers are trained to be helpful and add value while on location. Mullet was created from day one to be a service company, not a rental house. Although we’ve grown into a rental house over the years, we’re still a service company and it’s how we train our team members. Mullet is different by design.

Even on a union project we still find ways (within our lane) to be helpful.

Pop-up changing rooms so your models and actors can change looks in the wild. We recommend always adding at least one of these to every order because it allows you to pivot quickly without having to run your talent back to the motorhome or trailer.

08/08/2023. We were honored to support President Biden at the Grand Canyon during his climate change interview with the Weather Channel’s Stephanie Abrams.

We have supported many projects for the Weather Channel over the years and we were honored they trusted us to provide the VIP dressing room for the President. Our driver was the only crew member given clearance to be in the President’s proximity reflected in the last photo with the letter “A” pin which allows the Secret Police to quickly identify if you’re allowed in an area. After the interview President Biden was back in Air Force 1 and in the air by the time we closed up the RV and drove back to Grand Canyon Village.

This was a highlight for Team Mullet. This is not a political post, and it would not have mattered who was President or if they were Republican or Democrat, just being part of a presidential project was quite special.

We stock every type of warmer year-round because we learned early on that when its summer in Utah or LA for example, it isn’t always “summer” in National Parks of the northern states, or even our local high elevation mountains when you’re shooting at night or before sunrise. Then, in a panic production sends a PA to buy bulk warmers in a middle of nowhere town in July to no avail! Sooo, we keep them in stock in hopes of avoiding those situations.

What we keep in stock:
- Hand warmers
- Toe warmers
- Insole warmers
- Body warmers
- Thermacare low back heat wraps

We keep the Thermacare heat wraps in stock because the stills industry regularly uses them for models.

We keep toe warmers in stock because in addition to heating the toes, they’re used on camera gear and computers to keep them warm so the batteries don’t die as fast.

The things you learn along the way! We are consummate problems solvers and do our best to help our customers be prepared for where they’re planning to shoot, but sometimes they want to do that planning themselves and we end up running stuff to location after the fact. We’re fine with either approach, just know we’ve got you covered either way!

And lastly, even if you rented NOTHING from us, you can still send your panicked PA to our warehouse to buy a couple boxes of warmers!!!

On location with Delta at the end of December 2023. Delta shoots are always fun to go through clearance and be on airport property with escorts and all the airport security protocols.

We provided 2 passenger vans, 2 cargo vans, box truck & production supplies, craft service, catering and driver/PA’s for all vehicles. Mullet works as a team to support each other and other departments as needed (or allowed) while on location. Self-contained GloBug balloon lights with cart and generator available for rent.

If you’re shooting nights, or you’re shooting sunset or sunrise and need light when your crew lands or is warapping out, these are a great option from our work light selection. If you’re unfamiliar with GloBugs, scroll to the last photos for examples of the amount of light these produce. Sometimes it’s too much light for a location and you should rent our other work lights instead.

We have all the directors chair options one could ask for. Wooden with plain or custom backs both tall and short. Aluminum with tray and script pouch both tall and short. We choose to use the iClimb ultra-fold short directors chairs because of how compactly they fold up and they don’t flop open after being collapsed. They’re significantly more expensive than the typical short directors chair, but their lightweight and compact construction are worth it. Scroll to the last image for an example.

We prefer not to take wooden chairs on location because in our experience they tend to be less stable on uneven earth.

We treat our chair fabrics with Aero 303 Fabric protectant once a year to protect from UV damage and staining. This helps them look new and well-maintained and last longer. We have bypassed the initial 303 phase on new chairs in the past and they look sad and faded within a year and sometimes those faded chairs end up on location which is a constant reminder for Team Mullet as to why we treat brand new chairs! 🤣🫣

We just completed a remodel of our production office rental space & it is now available and ready for rent. We added an additional 3 for a new total of 9 offices. We still have the cubicles (shown in pics 2 & 4) which can be set up and used however a Production office staff desires.

In addition to the nine offices we have a large conference room which can be converted into a wardrobe holding space by removing the table.

Available for day, week, or monthly rental. Use this for your wardrobe fittings on a commercial, as soft space for the stage, or as your production office for a feature film or series.

Our 40’ costume trailer is frequently rented for large commercials in addition to film projects. With large hydraulic lift gate for easy loading, 8’x8’ office, washer/dryer, and 96 feet of lockdown rack it makes a great addition to your basecamp. Sometimes a motorhome is too cramped, a box truck isn’t enough, and a 53’ trailer isn’t nimble enough. Park this outside a studio, out in the wild, or in town.

We recently painted the exterior and made some modifications to the interior based off costume department feedback to get this ready to go for 2024!!!

Our 6-room honeywagon is the only one of its kind in Utah. It is unique because it works well for both commercial and film projects due to its compact size and maneuverability. This particular honeywagon is the same length as our motorhomes which makes it a perfect option when you’re on the move.

We recently remodeled the 2 crew restrooms on the back & updated the talent rooms.

Our gear sleds are a must-have for winter shoots. All our sleds have rope affixed so they can be pulled behind people or snow machines. We carry every size to suit your needs.

We also rent snowshoes and Yaktrax to make the sled pulling easier! 😉

These 155,000 btu heaters are the most underutilized style of heater we offer, yet create the most efficient instant warming area for crew to thaw their hands with. When you can’t feel your hands or face, these are instant relief.

We refer to these as the “crew cookers”

We frequently stage them at the entrance of our heated tents or by the food. They heat a large area so multiple crew members can stand around and warm up.

We carry Magliner bins that make storage and transport of bulky items on set a breeze. Use them for locations supplies, art department, PA Nation’s schlepping of all the things, trash removal, storage, whatever you can think of.

They’re lightweight and just click in to place on the Magliner. Or remove the bin and store it on set as a temporary storage bin while keeping your Magliner separate and free for other tasks.

This is a perfect “work smarter, not harder” tool!

All this excitement about the one and only Zac Efron post in front of East High School here in Salt Lake City, Utah & we’re just as excited. The entire team here Mullet Production Services are big fans of the down to earth Mr. Efron. We love working with him & Kodiak Cakes providing the support for these commercials with the bear.

We had the pleasure of supporting @thekillers during the shooting of some of their Pressure Machine trailers and photos. Shot in a nearly abandoned mining town about 1 hour south of Salt Lake City. We provided a couple motorhomes, pass van, & resource support, in addition to sourcing the picture car driven in the videos.
