Sustainable Style Society's first community service project was creating "The Dress Library" and accumulating a collection of formal dresses to have available for girls in Murfreesboro in need of assistance with dresses to wear to prom. The idea was well received by the ladies of the community who were very generous in donating dresses, more than was even hoped for when this idea was conceived. We are very grateful to everyone who helped this vision come to fruition. There was not a single young lady that requested assistance with a dress to wear that we were not able to accommodate. By request, this program will continue & be an ongoing thing & will be expanding to have formal, semi formal & other nice dresses & skirt sets for other events throughout the year such as banquets, music recitals, dances, homecoming, and other special occasions for which young ladies need appropriate attire. We will be accepting donations of attire for that in the near future. But taking a breather first. This was a LOT of work. But all worth it for such a wonderful cause! Thank you to all that made this project such a success!!

Where: Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Who: All ladies that live & work here
What: A Challenge: Wear a dress or skirt every day you can this month everywhere you go & let's make the whole city a fashion show all month long!
Just imagine everywhere you go all the ladies wearing dresses or skirts & beautifying the city. Won't it be lovely? Like flowers in the Spring. Let's all bloom this month!
**And...you can say that you were in the biggest fashion show there ever was in Murfreesboro. Actually, the biggest fashion show anywhere ever. Because you will be!
Can't wait to see you on the runway!!
