It is now official!! The 5th Race at Oaklawn on February 16th (Presidents Day) is named "The Village Academy Beaver Race". Thanks to Robert Yates, Don Pierce and Tommy Reynolds for making us aware that this process is available. The name of the race will be printed in the program and announced by the track announcer over the public address system. A few of us will be allowed in the Winners Circle photo with the jockey and owner of the winning horse. All Beaver supporters are invited to wear their shirts and attend for a fun day at the races. Some of us already have reserve grandstand seats in Section L, Row A which are $6.13 after tax. Spread the word to any who might be interested. GO BEAVERS!!

We asked for Jess Norman to be a jockey or play the trumpet for Call to Post but those requests were surprisingly denied.
