Many of you in our Northwest Theatre Press family have worked with our amazing photographer Matt Welch. Matt will be taking some time off as he and daughters Emma and Addy are mourning the loss of their wife and mom Shannon. Shannon was inspiring, kind, and generous with her community. She is greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

A GoFundMe in her memory has been set up by friends of the family to help through the immediate future. If you are able to contribute please do so. If you would like to share condolences we will be sure to pass them on to Matt and his family.

Fantastic news for youth theatre!

MTI has released a new platform and licensing option that allows elementary, middle, and high school shows to live stream videos of their productions as well as post videos of them online for OnDemand streaming! Which would allow youth theatre to get back in session without audiences, much like youth sports is already doing.

The team here at Northwest Theatre Press has pivoted in the last few months to perfect our streaming process in order to stay afloat during the pandemic.

Being able to stream and post the videos like the ones we have been recording for years has always been one of our dreams and we are more ready than ever to do so. The requirement to sell low resolution DVDs has always diminished the quality of our videos and this would finally let us share the HD versions with everyone.

The list of shows they are licensing with this new platform is incredible, opening up the rights for shows that were previously never allowed to be filmed.

We can't wait to hear what shows you are wanting to do and would love the opportunity to work with you again!
