Gliding through the crystal-clear waters, I felt like I was in a dream, surrounded by the serene beauty of the deep blue. The whale shark’s immense presence was both humbling and awe-inspiring.
But what truly captivated me were the tiny, vibrant pilot fish dancing in front of this magnificent creature. Their synchronized movements and shimmering scales added an extra layer of enchantment to the experience. It’s incredible how these small fish play such an essential role in the whale shark’s life, guiding and cleaning it as they swim together in perfect harmony.

I’ll never forget this day. The actual date was August 3, 2018 - it’s hard to forget a day like this. This humpback whale graced us with her presence for hours. She kept spy hopping and continued to do so, for almost everyone that was able to spend time with her. This was one of the most amazing encounters I have had with this species.

Unforgettable day among the sperm whales! What began as an encounter with two gentle giants quickly turned into a majestic gathering of five. Absolutely EPIC! 🐋 Despite the challenging seas, it was an exhilarating workout right up until the end of our ocean adventure. Dominica truly is the place to be! These magnificent sperm whales have captured my heart - they’re undoubtedly my favorite beings on this planet! 🌊💙
